Do you offer FDM and resin (SLA) printing?
Yes. Providers on Souq3D offer FDM materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU, as well as resin printing for higher-detail parts. Availability depends on active makers who bid on your request.
Can I hire a 3D designer in Egypt on Souq3D?

How much does 3D printing cost in Egypt?
It starts at a few tens of Egyptian pounds for a small PLA part and goes up to hundreds of pounds for larger PETG or ABS parts with supports, finishing, or urgent delivery. The provider sets the final price based on size, material, quality, and quantity. Estimate it with the Souq3D calculator, or post a print request to get real quotes.
What affects the price of a 3D print?
The main factors are material weight (model size and infill), print time, material type (PLA is usually cheaper than PETG, ABS, TPU, and resin), supports, finishing such as sanding and painting, quantity, and delivery deadline.
How does the 3D printing cost calculator work?
Upload an STL or 3MF file (up to 50 MB). The calculator analyzes the model's dimensions and volume, estimates print time, material weight, and energy use for the printer, material, and settings you choose, then gives an approximate cost and a suggested price in EGP.
Is the calculator price final?
No. The calculator gives an initial estimate. The final price comes in the provider's quote after they review your file, and may include finishing and delivery. Post a print request on Souq3D to compare several quotes before choosing.
How long does 3D printing take?
Small parts are usually ready within one or two days; large parts or batches can take several days. The provider states the delivery date in their quote, plus shipping time to your governorate.

Can I 3D print a model if I live outside Cairo?
Yes. Souq3D serves every governorate in Egypt. Post your request from anywhere and receive quotes from makers in your governorate or in others that ship to you.
How is my order delivered, and what does shipping cost?
The provider ships the part by courier to your address, or you pick it up. Shipping cost and time appear in the quote or are agreed with the provider, and depend on your governorate and the part size.
Is cash on delivery available?
It depends on the provider. Many accept cash on delivery, bank transfer, or mobile wallets. Agree on the payment method before confirming the order.
I don't have a 3D file. Can I still print?
Yes. Post a design request with a description, photos, or measurements; a 3D designer on Souq3D creates the file, then you print it with a local maker.

How do I start a request?
Register as a Client, complete your profile, then create a new project from Orders and upload your files and budget.
Can I join as a vendor?
Yes. Register as a Designer, Maker, or Company, complete your profile, and add portfolio work to appear in the provider directory.
How do payments work?
After you accept a bid, you pay using the provider’s available methods (such as transfer or cash on delivery), then both parties confirm payment on the order page.
How fast will you reply?
We usually reply within 24 hours on business days. For urgent matters, use the phone or WhatsApp links in the contact card.
Joining as a provider
Is registration free?
Yes. Registration is free, and you can start listing your services with no subscription fee.
Do I need a 3D printer?
No. If you design in 3D, you can list design services without a printer.
Can I offer design services only?
Yes. Sign up and list the design and modeling services you provide.
Can I offer printing services only?
Yes. If you have a 3D printer, you can receive print requests from customers.
Can I offer more than one service?
Yes. You can list more than one service on your profile and receive different types of requests.
